Our Privacy Promise

LateReceipt is built on a “Privacy First” architecture. Most tools process your data locally in your browser. We don’t see your receipts, we don’t store your logs, and we don’t sell your info. Your data stays on your device, exactly where it belongs.

Unlike traditional cloud tools, our trackers and generators are designed to function as client-side applications — your sensitive financial information is never sent to our servers.

1. Data Collection & Local Storage

Receipt, Return & Warranty Trackers — Our trackers use your browser’s Local Storage. Data (vendors, amounts, dates) is saved locally on your device. LateReceipt does not have access to your personal receipt logs, and no account is required. Note: clearing your browser cache will delete locally stored logs.

Affidavit & Email Generators — Documents are created instantly using JavaScript. Information entered into these forms is discarded the moment you close the tab or refresh the page. We do not maintain a database of the documents you generate.

2. Support & Communication

When you use our contact form, we collect your name and email address. This information is used strictly to resolve your support request.

3. Analytics & Cookies

We use lightweight analytics to understand which tools are most popular. This data is anonymous and helps us decide which generators to build next. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time without losing tool functionality.

4. Third-Party Services

If you purchase a Full Pack from our shop, payments are processed by secure third-party providers. LateReceipt does not store your credit card details — we only receive the information necessary to fulfill your digital delivery.

5. Your Rights

Because we don’t store your tool data, you already have total control over it. You can delete your data at any time by clearing your browser data or using the “Clear All” button within our trackers.
